Turn off to Kurrajong village. History lovers will appreciate the old buildings and churches, collectors will be lost in the antique shops. Visit the many cafes and restaurants found in the district. In spring of each year the Scarecrow Festival is always popular.

Returning to Bells Line of Road continue up Bellbird Hill towards Lithgow. Winding through the hill you will notice the most spectacular panoramic view at the Kurrajong Heights Lookout.
Bellbird Hill at Kurrajong Heights is one of only a few areas in the world to play host to the adventurous sport of Grass Karting. The specially groomed, downhill slopes surrounded by spectacular scenery, provide perfect conditions for the thrill seeking grass karters of all ages.
